Review by hotel critic
As an eco-traveler and reviewer, my recent stay at Danfords Hotel & Marina in Port Jefferson, Long Island was a mix of tranquility and fine dining. the newly renovated waterfront property provided stunning views, perfect for a tranquil spring break. Our spacious room, equipped with spa-inspired amenities, ensured a comfortable stay, complemented by a good night's sleep on the luxurious pillow-top mattress. the eclectic lounge at Wave Seafood & Steak was a highlight, offering a refreshing cocktail experience while watching the sunset over the harbor. Although we didn't explore the additional amenities, the hotel's long-standing tradition of fine cuisine was evident during our delightful meal. the attentive housekeeping staff and elegant decor added to the overall charm of the property, creating a memorable experience for me and my family. A recommended destination for those seeking relaxation and a touch of luxury on Long Island's North Shore.
